Ran for Cancer and pancakes at the Canada Cancer Council 5/10 km Fun Run today! This time with Susannah, Kas, Holland, Chris, and Linda.
They all did well and we helped raise $41,000 for cancer research (as in all the runners, our group raised $100).

I tried sailing for the first time Sunday afternoon on a choppy, windy, cold lake Burley Griffin. It was a lot of fun!
Mostly I sat in the boat while someone else sailed, baby steps. I’m planning to take a course after the mid-term review is over.

Today a friend and I ran the 10k (6mile) Canada Fun Run (formerly the Terry Fox Fun Run). It was a nice day with cool weather, many people participated to raise money for cancer research, and we managed a good finishing time.

I won second place in the Burgmann College Food Festival for my Chocolate Chip Cookies!

(First prize went to Spicy Chicken Wings.)

For second place I won a tea set for two.

I finished the Canberra Marathon in 5 hours 48 minutes and 48 seconds!.

Using the GSpace Firefox plugin you can drag and drop files to store in your gmail account. It’s great for saving Word document revisions because each upload of the same file is saved in a seperate email. GSpace can also remove/overwrite old copies of the file as well.
